This year, the Diocese of New England will be hosting the National Assembly.

TIME :

Thursday, September 19, 2013 through Sunday, September 22, 2013

Schedule:

Thursday Evening:
Arrivals, sign in and socialization

Friday:
Morning Mass and spiritual time
Afternoon business meetings

Saturday:
Morning Educational session
Afternoon business meetings continued

Sunday:
Closing Mass
Noon time meal

The closest airport is Hartford, Connecticut (HFD)
This is about 15 minutes from the retreat center
We will be arranging rides for all from the airport to the retreat center as well as return to the airport on Sunday.

The cost for the entire NA is $340 per person.
For those who would like to attend only the educational session on Saturday, there will is a $45 daily rate (which includes lunch). Fr. Gunter Esser, who is of the Department of Old Catholic Studies at Bonn University in Germany will conduct the education session.

Remember it is important to add specific dietary and physical restrictions to the registration.

Deacon Joan Flood to be Ordained

Deacon Joan Flood of the Holy Cross Diocese is to be ordained to the Priesthood on November 24, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Spirit of Hope Old Catholic Church in Sunfish Lake, Minnesota. She will be the first woman to be ordained a priest for the Holy Cross Diocese. We invite you to this participate in this historic event, either y your prayers or in person.

DEACON CAVANAUGH ORDAINED

The Faith Community of St. Francis of Assisi celebrates the Ordination of Jean Cavanaugh to the Diaconate. On Sunday, May 20, 2012, Deacon Jean was ordained in the company of her family, friends and faith community by Bishop Rosemary Ananis . The Episcopal Church of St. George’s in Sanford, Maine hosted the ordination and their Canon, Rev. Susan Murphy, graciously participated. The Ordination was followed by a meal prepared by members of the St. Francis community.

REVEREND THOMAS ORDAINED

The Reverend Diane Datz Thomas was ordained to the holy order of priest on February 11, 2012. Thomas, who is affiliated with the Old Catholic Diocese of New England, is the first priest to be ordained in The Old Catholic Church, Province of the United States.
